Regarding Preliminary Test A
There has been some question about movement 6 in the Preliminary Test A between judges. So there also must be confusion amongst the riders.
A: Should the horse should remain in a balanced frame and accept a loop in the rein without rushing or falling on the forehand?
Or
B: should the horse should maintain balance and tempo, and if he stretches softly toward the offered rein?
According to Sally O'Conner, it is option A that is the correct answer. Sally says a clarification with a picture will be posted on the USEA website and most likely will be in the next issue of The News.
