Are You Ready for 2011?-As you all know, there are new dressage tests for this coming year. Here is some information that was sent to us regarding actions taken by USEF to improve the new dressage tests.
• Reduced the number of tests per level to three (3) tests for ALL levels
• Only Training Level tests may be held in a small arena (this is included in the new Rule Book)
• Allow either rising or sitting trot for both Training and First Level Tests
• Have a clear distinction between each level
• Minimized the number of transition scores used in tests
• Collective Marks remain as is (Gaits x2, Impulsion x2, Submission x2, Rider x3)
• No colored paper for test sheets – now using lines on the edge of sheet to indicate level:
o Training Level – no line
 o First Level – 1 line
 o Second Level – 2 lines
 o Third Level – 3 lines
 o Fourth Level – 4 lines
