Join the MSEDA Board of Directors for recaps from the 2025 year and goals for 2026. Members will have the opportunity to approve the slate for new board member positions.

9:50-10:20 Biosecurity with Rusty Lowe

Rusty Lowe will be presenting on biosecurity and other competition safety practices.

10:30-11:30a How to Mentally Ride Your Best Test

w/ Dr Ashley Samson, Sports Psychologist

Dr Samson will present tactics for members to stay present during competition to master their nerves, remember their tests and courses, and be able to present their horse to the best of their ability.

11:40-12:10p Your First FEI with Cavin Allen

Cavin Allen will share tips and tricks on how to enter your first FEI event, including answering questions about the FEI horse and rider registration process.

12:10-1:45p Lunch Break

1:45-2:30p Peter Gray, topic TBA

2:45-4:15p Panel Discussion- How to Ride Your Best Test, tips from judges, trainers, and young horse and rider enthusiasts

Peter Gray and Susan Posner will share their wealth of knowledge with our membership to help competitors ride their best rounds at a show. They will answer questions from the membership to tailor the conversation to what you want to hear about!





Midsouth Eventing & Dressage Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

MSEDA’s mission is to promote and preserve the sports of Eventing and Dressage in the Mid-South area, by providing leadership and education to its members and the community at large. To further these goals, MSEDA will provide educational opportunities, fair and safe competitions, promote the welfare of the horse and rider and reward the pursuit of excellence from the grass roots to the FEI level.
